Please note that, in order to check if the applicant meets the requirements for enrollment in an Italian University, students holding a foreign title need to provide the Declaration of Value (D.O.V.) issued by the Italian embassy in their country (or the country where they studied, when different) and all academic titles obtained must be translated and validated by the Italian competent authorities.

Otherwise, students holding a title obtained abroad can provide the Statement of Comparability issued by the CIMEA in place of the abovementioned documentation.

CIMEA MY-DIPLOME

The pre-enrollment application is mandatory for non-EU students applying for a study visa.

Depending on your student category, there are two different admission procedures to follow. As a first step, check to which student category you belong to among the ones listed below:

  1. EU students holding:
    1. a foreign school title resident abroad
    2. an Italian school title resident in Italy
    3. a foreign or international school title resident in Italy
  2. non-EU students holding:
    1. a foreign title resident abroad
    2. an Italian school title resident in Italy
    3. a foreign or international school title resident in Italy
  3. Italian students holding:
    1. a foreign school title resident abroad
    2. an Italian school title resident in Italy
    3. a foreign or international school title resident in Italy

Once you have determined to which student category you belong to, check which Admission Procedure you need to follow among the two ones listed below:

Now that you know to which student category you belong to and your corresponding admission procedure, read below all the steps that you need to take.

Admission Procedure A

ASSESSMENT

Application window from 16/01/2020 – to 30/06/2020

The new dates will be published in February 2021

Please note that due to the objectives of our curriculum of studies, priority will be given to candidates with an age range between 17 and 21. Only exceptional candidates will be considered with ages outside the range given.

To submit your application, follow the steps below:

  1. Fill in the application form at the following link
  2. You can pay the application through the new system of payment (since July 2020)  “PagoPA” promoted by the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID) of the Prime Minister’s Office. The PagoPA payment notice can be paid through various channels (credit card, bank branches, tobacconists, etc.).

  3. The Admissions Committee will review your candidacy and contact you with the outcome within 7 working days. All candidates will be contacted. Successful ones, will be invited to sit a Skype interview with a member of the Admissions Committee.
  4. During the interview, you will be assessed on your background in mathematics, physics and chemistry as well as assessing the motivation to undertake the course. The interview will be in English to assess your language level.
  5. Successful candidates will be sent an Official Admissions Letter.

Admitted candidates must contact the Italian Diplomatic Authorities in their home countries to proceed with the pre-enrolment form, VISA and Declaration of Value (DoV).

Admission Procedure B (2020-21)

Deadline for the Admission test: 31st of August 2020

This procedure is valid ONLY for Italian students and for non-Italian students with Italian qualifications.
